In the beginning there were four clans, Fire clan, Ice clan, Earth clan and Breeze clan. A secret plan between two cats was made to eliminate the clans, leaving the forest free so that they could live in it, have it to themselves. We know the one of the two cats was a rouge, the other, a deputy from one of the clans. However we do not know from what clan, or the name of the cat, as the scheme was found out by a young apprentice, the traitor left the forest before it was found out he was one of the cats behind it. But the plan still went ahead- as the young apprentice was rushing back to tell his clan, the rouge brought his army of cats. An attack was launched, the in prepared clans were wiped out, either by fire, or from fighting. However, there were a few that survived- a few that were out of the camp at the time. These left over cats returned to their camps to find nothing more than dead bodies, and burned trees. They started on their way out of the forest- not wanting to be caught by the rouges. on the way, they found more cats like themselves, and by the time they were at the end of the forest, there was a good six of them. So the cats traveled for weeks, on foot, crossing thunder paths, rivers, mountains, till they eventually came to the ideal place. it was hard to leave behind their old life. they still yearned for their old forest, where they grew up- where they had lived, and their ancestors had lived. As time grew on, the six cats started to disagree on how to live, they all wanted the same basic rules, but it was the details that they disagreed on. so the six cats split in to two groups of three. Half of the new forest was given to one of the groups, and the other half to rest of the cats. One group called them selves Sky clan. They lived by the same rules they did back in the old forest. And the others called themselves the tribe of the flying, They decided this was a chance to perfect the rules and codes that they felt had always had holes in. This is believed to be the story of the forest ancestors. Many, many moons later the clan and tribe live on. The cats get on with their normal lives, love still lingers in the air, and the forest is alive with beauty, the lake still shimmers as bright as when the first six cats saw it. But all may not be well. For the descendant of that young apprentice will soon have his calling, along with his friends, new acquaintances and cats they secretly cant stand.
